Visiting Hours are pretty much early in the morning until 9 PM

Mindy before the visits...

Mindy: Today I had visitors!  It made the time go faster and helped me forget about being stuck in bed.  Thanks Traci, Reanna (with Jimmy John's for lunch), Brea, Steph, grandpa and Glenda.  My dad and step-mom are having dinner with us tonight and my mom is stopping by when she gets off work. Tony stops by two to three times day, well, he's supposed to!!!

Mindy after her visits!

Today the doctor came by and told me that he ordered my next cervical length for Thursday and if it is above 2 cm he said there is a good chance I'd get to go home!  If it is less than 2 cm he said we would discuss my long-term stay.  I didn't think 8 days was short-term but I guess it is.

The babies are kicking!  Tony wasn't able to feel it till Tuesday, but then the girls finally kicked haard enough for daddy to feel!

Probably going to play soccer!

Yesterday I was moved to the long-term suite as they call it here.  It is a  much larger room and feels more homey.

Just like home!

Here is what a normal day is like.
7:30 AMwake up, go to the bathroom, brush teeth, turn on the Today Show
7:45 AM order breakfast, Tony stops by before class.
8:00-9:00 AM watch the news, vitals taken, take my meds, babies heartbeats are found, eat breakfast
9:00-10:00AM watch Regis and Kelly and wait for the doctor to make his rounds
10:00-11:00 AM watch the Price is Right and read a magazine, Tony stops by after teaching.
11:00-12:00 AM watch Rachel Ray, order lunch, take a shower!
12:00-3:00 PM turn on my lap top or read, eat lunch
3:00-4:00 PM watch the Doctors
4:00-5:00 PM watch Ellen
5:00-6:00 watch the news and order dinner
6:00-7:00 read, watch TV, wait for Tony to get here
7:00-10:00 Tony is here, watch TV, chat, fall asleep
11:00 last check of the night by nurses, babies are found, back to sleep

Repeat!

  1. Mindy--Was soooo good to see you Saturday and I'm just sorry we're so far away that I can't stop in and see you every morning or afternoon and play some cards, scrabble, or just visit. Think about you and the babies every day. Keep on taking care and glad you got moved to a bigger room. Ready for a "slumber party"!!!!

  3. I'm glad to hear you might get out of there soon. ^_^ I hope you're feeling better overall. I can't even imagine what it's like to go through what you're going through. (*_*) Really though you should ask Tony to bring you an Xbox 360 to play while you're there... >.>
