Lunch Hour Update

Hi, Everybody! I wanted to update you with my status.

This morning the ultrasound showed that my cervix was 3.25 cm which is phenomenal. The magnesium has been lowered, and I am feeling a little better. I still have some double vision which is why Dawn is typing for me. I also had difficulties reading my room number and accidentally sent her to the wrong room where she opened the door to see some random lady breastfeeding. Oops!

The contractions have stopped and if things keep on this upswing then I should be able to go home on Saturday.  I will be on strict bed rest until the girls are born- which we are hoping will be sometime after 28 weeks.

Humans aren't the only animals tied to bed rest!

Using the bedpan is still as miserable as it sounds.

 I get a "carwash" shower today which is very exciting.

Mindy finds time to try some new hair products.

 A carwash shower is when they put you on a bed and wheel you into a walk-in shower. The bed apparently doubles as a bathtub and holds some of the water. Tony was a little upset with the "nurse" who was giving me sponge baths . . .

Mindy pines for equal opportunity with male nurses.

7:45 AM Friday Morning -

Today we meet with Dr. Hwang and hear if Mindy will or will not be going home today or tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll hear good news and Mindy can come home to begin her bed rest.
