A Bear-y special blog at the halfway point

Baby Gadgets
We, I mean Mindy has been working on the registry. As we meet with couples (thanks Suzy and Andy) we get ideas about what really helps manage the kiddos in those first years . . . first 18 years . . .  If you have any suggestions of what would be helpful please let us know.

Cervical Competence
Mindy's cervical exam results were good and still holding at 3.7 cm with a total of  twenty pounds gained. The ultrasound tech was really sweet to her and Mindy said she was dying to know the third baby's gender. Sure enough there were three girls!

Three Girls!
Three Girls!
Three Girls!

As soon as I heard pictures flashed through  my head . . . what kind of girls are they going to be?
Really Smart?
Really Athletic?

Violinists with Master's Degrees?
Aren't you upset you didn't have any boys? They say a picture is worth a thousand words . . . well here's two thousand . . .

 or worse . . .

Back to the girls! Yeah! I had arranged the perfect names from what we had chosen an hour afterward; but I understand that it may change so we're going to hold on to those names until they are on birth certificates . . .

in 3 1/2 months . . . the wait . . . oh, the wait!

Grand mom to be Guerra is ecstatic after so many years with 3 boys in her house . . . (Dad, myself and my brother) . . . poor Grand dad Block to be now has 4 daughters and now 4 granddaughters. The probability, if my math is right, is (1/2) to the 8th power or 1 in 256 or .391% of that happening!

Triplet Belly vs. Singleton Belly!

Close up!
 Bears Everywhere!

My mom responds to the bear-foot and pregnant blog with an awesome bear . . .

The bear is already in time out, was being a little unbearable. . .!

Motorcycle Bears from Suzy and Andy (Yes those are diaper wheels and baby sock handlebars on that chopper!)

Amazing creations by Suzy.  Thanks Suzy!
Baby B Starts to look like a real person!
I'm a girl! (those are legs . . .)
Baby C in 4D.  They are getting so big.

The first crib is assembled.  Thanks Shannon, Adam, and Justin. Any one else wanna stay for the weekend?

Another appointment is coming up in a week and 1/2 we'll keep in touch!

  3. OMG that HaHaStop pic with the triplets had me dying with laughter!

I just realized though, they'll be born around my birthday. (*_*) Therefore I predict three nerd girls. Better break out your old D&D books again. ^_^ And make sure to buy ALL of them their own Star Wars toys... don't want any more Millennium Falcons flying off the roof.

  5. The Ergo baby carrier/backpack is a must - it holds the babies from day one until they are much bigger (I still let me 5-year old in it from time to time while hiking) It is super comfortable and is wearable on the front or the back. It's expensive, but I have used them all Bjorn and others and this one is a hands-down winner. Good luck to you!
