I have survived 22 days of hospital bed rest! I am hoping and praying I can make it 6 more weeks for the girls' health.

I had an u/s yesterday at 22 weeks 3 days and baby A is 1.2 pounds, baby B is 1.1 pounds, and Baby C is 1 pound! Right on track.
They are supposed to double their weight in the next four weeks so I'm trying to eat as much as I can to fatten them up a bit.
The harsh realities of the scale after the pregnancy! |
The girls were moving around too much to get good pictures this week.
Baby B's hand.. seems big |
Baby C sucking her thumb. |
My cervix was 1.6-2.1 which was about the same as last time so I'm allowed pool therapy three times a week and wheel chair rides for 15 minutes the other days. I'm hoping this will make time pass even faster. If only I could just stay in the pool all day.

Pool therapy is amazing. Not only do I get out of the room but I also get to use my muscles (well those that are left). My first session was only 15 minutes but I was told the time would gradually increase. During pool therapy I work with a physical therapist to work my muscles (walking in the water and stabilization exercises on a noodle was day 1).

Growing pains.
I can definitely tell the girls are growing. My lower abdomen and back hurt from all the stretching. We can see when baby C moves. My stomach will go from soft to rock hard where she is at as she turns over. During my ultrasound she had both feet over her head pushing herself over. It was really cool to see.
Baby C's leg over her head doing a pike. Check out the muscle lines. Apparently cats can do this... And dogs... |
Happy 23wk birthday!!
