Well, on June 11th, 16-18-27-36-50-8 were the magic numbers for a Powerball win...
Today I got to talk to the doctor after my Monday cervix check. He said it was slightly reduced but not to the point where he was concerned. At this point he was not going to reduce any of my activities (pool therapy, wheel chair ride (though I turned Tony down for a wheelchair ride last night to be safe), bathroom privilege (did not turn down the "privilege" of not having a foley catheter in and a bedpan!).
He said that if my cervix measured around 1.5 next Monday he would still let me go home.

Freeeeeeeeedooooooooooooom!!! |
There are definate pros and cons to going home, but I'd love to be back home for a bit.
|
We've had time to put up a sign! |
So for now I'm praying for 1.5 not only so I can go home, but also because it means the babies will stay safe longer. If my cervix is closer to 1 I will be completely bed ridden.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!! |
We had a neonatologist come visit us today. He told us about the risks of preterm birth and the obstacles the girls could face. He said getting to 24 weeks is huge and hopes we can make it to at least 28 weeks as the girls will endure less complications then. He was very nice and informative and a good preview of the doctors that will be in the NICU. We are also going to go on a private tour of the NICU on Friday. They will explain all the machines, and we will hopefully get to see a few babies at various ages. There are currently a few 24 and 25 weekers in the NICU.

Apparently the babies do VERY WELL in the NICU! |
Two more days till Twenty-Four weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!
