Rough week for mom and we cross to Week 33

Mindy: Now that August is half over it is setting in on me that I won't have much if any time with the girls at home before I have to go back to work.  I feel like we aren't close to reaching any of the milestones that get them closer to being discharged.  We have been "living" at Mercy hospital for 14 weeks now and I guess I'm reaching a breaking point and just ... discouraged.

On the upside a couple other NICU/PICU moms and I have formed a little support group.

Praying that next week is a better week.

Tony (right) also praying very hard for Mindy to have a good week

Where Tony will be praying if these prayers for Mindy are not answered...

On a lighter note here is an update on the girls and some photos.

The girls have had a rather uneventful week. Not many changes have been made and we are hoping they use this time to grow bigger and stronger. Their spells have fluctuated from 0-8 in a day and we are praying that as we near the "magical" week 34 the spells disappear. Rianne weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces,  Teagan weighs 3 pounds 1 ounce, and Brielle weighs 2 pounds 14 ounces.

We are still trying to find a part-time nanny.  If anyone knows of someone please let us know.

Hours would be from 7 am to 1 pm Monday through Thursday.

No holidays. No Fridays. No weekends.

Teagan swaddled nicely by the nurses

Brielles swaddled nicely as well, also wants her hands by her head

Rianne swaddled by "Nurse Tony". Presents at Christmas aren't wrapped much better.

Rianne in a different view of the same picture so the swaddling job looks better. Is it okay to use safety pins in a swaddle? Hmmm....(I am just kidding...)

Rianne still looking for milk from daddy and Teagan staying up to watch and giggle...

Teagan showing good manners and covering her mouth when she coughs.

Rianne (left) and Teagan (right) and Tony (middle) asleep on the job

Teagan (right) pulling away...Daddy used deodorant, what's the problem?
Mindy continues to ask why oh why couldn't Tony carry the babies or pump every three hours...I do empathize and wish I could help but here's a visual answering the first question...

Babies are just not meant to come from Daddy...
as for making the milk...

If we have enough trouble missing the toiled seat, having three spouting shooters would be a mess...
