There are no IV poles in the girls room anymore!
Teagan is off the vapotherm and is on a blend of "wall" oxygen. This means she gets 1/2 liter of part air part concentrated oxygen. Big step forward. She is still eating really well and steadily gaining weight.
Rianne is at 1 liter on her vapotherm and is doing well. She sometimes has trouble digesting all her food so her feeds are still less than Tegan.
Brielle is at 2 on her vapotherm and is still doing well. She had some fluid retention this week so was given some Lasix. She is eating more and doing a better job digesting her food. The doctor Saturday said that the girls are getting pretty boring which is a good thing. The still desat but their spells are down to one or less a day. Hopefully no more days of 3 or 4 nurses running in their room.
Below are our finest moments...Mindy getting to hold two and I got to hold all three...there are no words for the feeling except ... blessed....
