Rianne
Ri is on 4 liters on her vapotherm has done well the past two days. She got a blood transfusion last week and her caffeine dose increased which seems to have helped decrease her spells.

Doctors have been ultra-aggressive with the new caffeine IV... |
She has been the sleeper of the group this week. There are days where she doesn't show us her eyes much.
She is up to 2 pounds 12 ounces and is being fed 11 ounces every three hours.

Brielle: Daddy! Did you really compare Mommy to another girl, Oh no, it's going to be chilly tonight, turn up the blanket! |
We have a new appreciation
On Saturday Holding Tiny Hands had a lunch for parents of premature babies currently in the NICU and parents who endured a NICU stay in the past. We met another very sweet couple who had triplet girls almost a year ago. Combined their girls had five surgeries and all had brain bleeds. One of their girls had to have a stent placed and was in the NICU for five and a half months. We also met a mom whose baby will need a heart transplant before he is two years old. Seeing what others are/have gone through makes us appreciate our girls stable health. They still are tiny and need help breathing and sometimes forget to breathe but they are making progress and have dodged a lot of health complications. So thankful and praying for the health of the other babies.
