1. Maternity pants are not that comfortable.
2. Finding underwear that fits right is not easy. If you get a size bigger it's too big in the butt. I might have to stick to thongs. (Sweet!, that's Tony talking...)
3. Having good friends and family are a must to make it through.
4. Having supportive co-workers makes the process so much easier. Thanks guys!
5. Tony has become very protective and more amazing then ever. (Sweet, again!)
6. If you are one of the luck ones who gets bad acne (me) there are no safe treatment options. I'm hoping this means I'm going to have great skin afterwords
7. Sneezing hurts really bad the first few months.
8. At 24 weeks I'll look like a singleton mom at 36 weeks. Yikes.
9. The babies are viable at 22 weeks.
10. There is a high likelihood that I'll have my cervix stitched shut. I hear this is painful :(
11. It is really hard to eat every 2-3 hours. Thanks to all my coworkers for reminding me to stuff my face.
12. Gaining weight is not as easy as I thought it would be.
13. I'll never know what the birthing process is like since I'll be having a C-section. No birthing classes for us. We will be attending a class on multiples instead.
14. Tylenol does not help when I have a headache. I was prescribed Fioricet instead.
15. It is possible to be hot. (For those of you who know me know that I'm always cold and have feet and hands like ice thanks to Raynaud's phenomenon).

ReplyDeleteMy sister totally shared your feelings on the acne treatments, but she really does have great skin since being pregnant so there's hope! And you know you can always come over to IC for a VBAC for baby number 4!! haha! ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't know how some women make being prego so glamorous... we all know I felt my body was taken over by a hungry alien. The secret to weight gain is to eat all the stuff u didn't and more of the stuff u did. Most importantly, eat your green leafy veggies with full fat ranch. Yum!
