Fencing (Teagan) and Volleyball (Rianne) 10 8 2022

Teagan practiced against three separate opponents. All were boys, and she's learning to be more aggressive and patient under attack from someone aggressive. 

This is Rianne's 4th or 5th game in volleyball, she's thinking about playing club or coming back next year to play.

A long weekend of soccer, volleyball, and cross country. Brielle and Rianne really had a lot going on, I didn't get a soccer video of this weekend, but I'll have one next weekend I hope.

 It was a nail biter to watch, but here's the highlights from last night's game

Teagan Fencing Practice

 Teagan had just been beat by this fencer in a 5 to 4 match, but she came back in this 10 point bout. 

Maybe I'll put some light saber sounds in the next one, and we have a new household member. 

This is Bo, a temporary, maybe permanent name, our new 10-week-old Vizsla puppy. 

It was a tough decision, but it's about the perfect age as they will be in the house another 7 years, then the dog will slow down for me. 

First Soccer Game of the Season

With only 10 players on the roster that day, the girls had to gut it out for an hour with few substitutions. 

Both Brielle playing left and right forward and left back and Teagan playing goalie and center forward found the back of the net and Rianne was trying out a relatively new role as center back and attacking mid.

Sudden Death Penalty Kicks in the Championship Game

 An incredible game, tied zero to zero after 40 minutes of play and it comes down to six penalty kicks and sudden death.
