i-crazy

The girls love the i-phone and i-pad to the point where they can't be visible or it will lead to a melt down. So if you call we aren't avoiding your phone call.. we are avoiding a toddler throwing a fit because she can't have our phone. When they learn how to share or not make inappropriate phone calls or texts then they can have our i-phones and i-pad whenever they want.

We hoped that by given Teagan the phone we could get a good picture.. not so much.

I have it all to myself!

In other family news... I had my third hip surgery last week. It was supposed to be a quick, easy surgery to remove scar tissue and tighten my capsule so I would have more movement and less pain. The surgery turned into an hour and a half procedure where the doctor found my tendon was rubbed raw, I had lots of scar tissue to remove, a piece of floating cartilage that had to be taken out, and my capsule was tightened. Due to the damage I will need a total hip replacement in the next 10-20 years.

No kids for a night, the girls get outside

Brielle spent the night with Joy and Teagan and Rianne spent the night with Gracie and Angie and Craig so we had no children last night and were a little confused. We quickly regrouped and headed to Buffalo Wild Wings for a little dinner, Olive Garden for a little dessert, found a movie and stayed up really late. That's right 9 with a three-o after it. Brielle is here alone with me (Tony) playing quietly while I do the blog. One of the writers that came to DMACC is going to be on the Today show and I should be able to watch and hear it!

Feels so good to be outside!!!

18 month stats

The girls went to the doctor for their 18 month old check up. Everything went well and they didn't have to get any shots! Here are their stats..

Brielle: Height 28.5 inches (1%), Weight 18 pounds 1 ounce (2%), Head 17.5 inches (9%)
Rianne: Height 32 inches (48%), Weight 21 pounds 8 ounce (35%), Head 18 inches (33%)
Teagan: Height 32.75 inches (72%), Weight 22 pounds 4 ounce (43%), Head 19.25 inches (97%) (This is Dad's fault...)
