Duane's Syndrome, a broken leg and last day to vote!

9/27/2012: Teagan does have a toddler's fracture and it is supposed to heal without a cast. She's still pretty mobile, it's just going to take some time for her to get back on her feet normally.

Brielle

We noticed that one of Brielle's eyes doesn't move properly when she looks to the side.  We took her back in to her eye doctor who diagnosed her with Duane's Syndrome.  It should not affect her vision, but she may have to move her head to see from side to side.  We are hoping that her condition doesn't worsen and remains stable.  She will be followed every couple of months and we'll go from there.

On a positive note Brielle now says mom, dada, and a bunch of other mumble jumble.  She can also wave hi (left-handed) and bye and sign more.
Saying good bye to the oxygen equipment.  Happy Day!

Teagan

We thought Teagan might have broken her leg on Tuesday night.  She was very fussy after going down the slide at the park and wouldn't bear weight on her right leg.  I took her into urgent care where her x-rays came back normal so they diagnosed her with a sprain and said she should be back to normal in a day or two.  The next day she wasn't any better so I took her back in and they thought  she  might have hand, foot, mouth as she has big blisters on her feet and the pain prevented her from walking.  Apparently, there are twenty types. She is just starting to walk a little bit again so hopefully we dodged a bullet.

Teagan is as daring as ever on their new indoor gym and she often stands on her toy train while Rianne pushes her around.  We got their indoor play set from Children's Factory and the number and letter mat from Amazon.  We are hoping they win the little tumbler contest so we can add another set for them to play on.  We are going to need something else to keep them entertained this winter so please vote once a day every day this week

Alright Brielle, let the sink overflow and bring in the hose!
Child proof cabinets. ha.

Rianne

Rianne is becoming more daring and will now go thru their tunnel and flips all around on their play mats.  She has started making a growling noise which is quite entertaining.  She loves walking around and has to have an object in both hands to feel satisfied.

Gracie: C'mon, there's room, move over.

We're in 10th place after Day 1 of Voting. Please vote again today!

Here's the gymnastics voting link, just click on the picture. We really appreciate any votes!

They love playing with the "magic rocks" and trying to eat them. If you were there all you would hear is "Please, don't eat the rocks. Don't. Really, don't eat the rocks."
We wanted to go to the zoo today but they all have stuffy noses and it's kind of chilly. So we thought to take them to PetSmart.

Given the choice of another child or a basset hound...
and looking ahead to what the girls would do with a little brother...

You would think a boy scout would be able to use a stick of gum and a paperclip to get out...
We thought it best to stick with what we had
Pirates on the raft.

Pirates hit the shore.

They are very happy off the raft now.

Teagan thinks she is sneaky, sneaky.
You overestimate your sneakiness! Busted.
I look like an Apple Jack.

It's like there's nothing on TV.

Maybe a quick stroller ride?
They are normal sisters for a minute and then...

Oh. Rianne. (left) (Brielle is in pre-sneeze)

GYMNAST VOTING DAY IS TODAY

Apparently you can vote once per day! (though I think we should get three votes)The competition will be fierce as parents recruit family, friends and even people that just gave them an empty card for their wedding present but drank it up at the open bar to vote for their children.

All parents think their child will be the next Olympic hopeful, and good for them, they can have the gold, we just want the prize that lets us buy our kids more gym equipment.

The equipment you see in the living room cost around $500
(I know, it's vinyl for crying out loud), but we ask for your help recruiting voters and, of course, your vote. I know with the the muscle of the triplet blog and a bi-partisan effort we can win this and bring home the vinyl!

Here is the voting link:

Our Three Gymnasts get their first Gym Set

I just said "Da-Da" and all of a sudden, I talk more than the other two. It's like my brain just turned on. (Ma Ma is not happy about this development)

Thanks for my graham cracker da-da.

You know this could use some milk. Da-da milk. Da-da milk. (Da-da now is working with Brielle to learn ma-ma)

Contest Submission - STAR 102.5
This is the picture (above) that I submitted for the STAR 102.5 little tumblers contest. Here is the link that should get you there. It has not been approved yet, but hopefully we'll be able to vote for our little ones next week.

This is the photo I wanted to submit (above), but I didn't feel right only submitting one triplet.

Teagan and Rianne assert their territorial rights while Brielle refs.

Rianne: Hey, if you're not going in the tunnel let someone else in

No, I'm sliding. (They had trouble getting up the steep grade)

So frustrating. I'm sliding too.

I can do it. I can do it.

Coach Teagan with her super big whistle is coming to help.

Wassup? Yeah, I'm king of the mountain!

First!

Just when you think you have normal kids.
And they are playing nicely together.

Smell my butt. Smell my butt.

Teagan flees the scene.

Mini-Blog this Week, We're pooped

This past week was another rough week at the Guerra home.  Teagan and Rianne had some virus causing temps of 103 degrees and much crabbiness.  Thankfully their fevers broke Saturday but their crabbiness is still working its way out of their systems.  At times like these I wonder how other triplet families out there survive.  Do they struggle this much or is it just us?

The girls are working on perfecting their walking skills. They still look like little zombies and fall on their bottoms a lot but they still think they are pretty big stuff.

We caught Brielle with a BIG SMILE (She's trying)

Rianne's modeling the new Winter line

Me. On the runway? A model? No.

Okay. Yes.

Kinzie said it's not every day you see three girls in the tub. Nope. It's every other day!
We got them some new "toys" to play with trying to make the family room into more of a gym.

And a second video.

We're pooped. Hopefully more next week.

This Clip's Going Viral, Brielle Tackles Teagan. She's One!

I had to upload this, it is ridiculous laugh out loud funny. Rianne (on left) pushes past Brielle (center) and she grabs for Teagan (behind curtain) then she tackles her twice!

And, on a side note. They are all walking now in the video below, though it's kind of a creepy zombie looking thing right now. Chris will appreciate this.
