Brielle
We noticed that one of Brielle's eyes doesn't move properly when she looks to the side. We took her back in to her eye doctor who diagnosed her with Duane's Syndrome. It should not affect her vision, but she may have to move her head to see from side to side. We are hoping that her condition doesn't worsen and remains stable. She will be followed every couple of months and we'll go from there.
On a positive note Brielle now says mom, dada, and a bunch of other mumble jumble. She can also wave hi (left-handed) and bye and sign more.
Saying good bye to the oxygen equipment. Happy Day! |
Teagan
We thought Teagan might have broken her leg on Tuesday night. She was very fussy after going down the slide at the park and wouldn't bear weight on her right leg. I took her into urgent care where her x-rays came back normal so they diagnosed her with a sprain and said she should be back to normal in a day or two. The next day she wasn't any better so I took her back in and they thought she might have hand, foot, mouth as she has big blisters on her feet and the pain prevented her from walking. Apparently, there are twenty types. She is just starting to walk a little bit again so hopefully we dodged a bullet.
Teagan is as daring as ever on their new indoor gym and she often stands on her toy train while Rianne pushes her around. We got their indoor play set from Children's Factory and the number and letter mat from Amazon. We are hoping they win the little tumbler contest so we can add another set for them to play on. We are going to need something else to keep them entertained this winter so please vote once a day every day this week
Alright Brielle, let the sink overflow and bring in the hose! |
Child proof cabinets. ha. |
Rianne
Rianne is becoming more daring and will now go thru their tunnel and flips all around on their play mats. She has started making a growling noise which is quite entertaining. She loves walking around and has to have an object in both hands to feel satisfied.
Gracie: C'mon, there's room, move over. |
