Crazy Weekend with the Girls (Rough Draft)

This is a picture fest of the girls this weekend...Sejal's getting married so the Drake Pharm Alums are out in force.

Teagan more concerned about being watched than the foot that's going to hit her in about two seconds.

I know how to use it, look!
Teagan showed me How!

Ahh. That tickles! Stop Stop Stop!

Okay. Do it again!

I can tickle you

I think we know where this is going!

Tickle Monster Attack!

Count it off! One. Two. Three! Pin!

And the video (above) This is what it looks like at ground level!

Don't look down! Don't look down! Don't look down!

Don't look down. Don't look down. Don't look down!

So many books. I could pee my pants. Oh, I just did.

I stood up all by myself!

Overachiever. I think I'll just lay (lie) here!
A much more efficient way to get groceries for the girls!

They didn't have enough formula! Still needed another 8 cans.

Maybe they could just parachute supplies in?

Brielle picks a diaper for later

Then meets a friend!

Harrumph!

Flex the abs, the pecs and shoulders. Can't make the bathtub tonight I'm at the gun show!

I've got diapers for my sisters and me!
Cute video of Brielle in front of the mirror.

The clean baby thumbs up!
The Duck Derby.

So I look under the tail for a prize?

Someone made bubbles!

Guilty. Guilty. Innocent. No wait, now another guilty.

Hand Foot Mouth and We're not talking about Tony getting in Trouble

Hand Foot Mouth Disease

We have had a crazy past couple of weeks and I've been meaning to write it all down but I've been too exhausted.  The girls all had hand, foot, mouth which lasted a little over a week as they passed it from one to the other.

Brielle was affected last while Teagan had it the worst.  I think the only part of her body that didn't have blisters was her back.  For anyone whose child has not had this, be thankful.  I know it looks worse than it really is, but it was not pleasant for any of us.  They all just wanted to be held, which is impossible when you have three babies.  Thankfully, they are all better and back to their normal selves.

Guess the baby without seeing the head. Hmm...long legs, oxygen is not going to the baby but past...hmmm...oh, slobber covered bib -- Rianne.
Teagan's mouth a viral wasteland. Yes, still cute and with it scabbed over, no longer contagious.
Under the arms the bumps take hold. They didn't seem to itch that badly.

Teagan is still our super happy baby who is crawling everywhere.  She was officially crawling at 10 months or 7 months adjusted.  She loves to smile and laugh and climb over and on top of everything.  She is our little dare devil and seems to have no fear.

Brielle: Teagan''s such a cheese ball, always smiling. I guess I'll get her some pom pons for her first birthday.

Teagan trying on the Minnesota Twins hat on for size and if you look closely, stealing Thunselle's wallet.

Look. If you just handed me the bottle, I wouldn't have to go crawling around all over the place.

Thanks Megan for our big girl box. Next stop - table with teacups and a 4th setting for ... daddy!

Rianne is not fond of the whole crawling thing.  She tries but then gets frustrated and starts crying which gets rather annoying.  She is happy as can be standing, but she can't do it on her own, yet  we'd love for her to learn any day now.  We have also decided that Rianne is the bully of the group.  She likes to pull Teagan's hair and grab Brielle's shirts and push her down on the ground.  She doesn't quite get that we don't do things like that, so we try and keep space between all three.

Cooper's got Rianne. Why is Ri looking like she just sat on a toy? I told her just how good Cooper is at Flippy cup.

They are actually watching Ellen on TV. It's Ellen's 1500th episode and she replayed Ashton Kutcher without...well anything on.

Look Emily -  "the Bachelorette" Maynard, that horse you are riding (and I am riding) is going to be much more loyal and certainly more trainable than any of those 25 guys you've got.

Are you serious? Those guys want roses? That's silly, girls get roses, boys get .... well, boys get girls roses!

Brielle can get from the sitting to crawling position back to sitting pretty easily.  She isn't crawling yet, but can scoot and gives crawling a good effort.  She is a MUCH happier baby these days and is often quite content sitting on the floor playing with her toys. We were told by Brielle's pulmonologist that the earliest she can get off her oxygen is August.  Once she starts crawling we may be able to take her cannula off when she is awake.

I'm trying not to smile.

I don't know why, but I'm craving a Sunkist, maybe an Orange Crush... the girls in their Dutch orange.

We are becoming more of a "normal" family with kids.  We have took them all out for Gracie's tball game.  Tony took Teagan to the grocery store.

I think these are Mommy's Favorite!

And we are trying to take them out for walks every day.  The girls love being outdoors.  We have a full weekend ahead with Sejal's wedding.  I'm nervous about fitting in my Sari but Sejal assured me that they can cover my stomach.  I'm excited to see friends I haven't seen in the while and for them to meet the girls.

Our neighborhood had a baby shower for me.  It was very sweet!  Dr. Murphy (the girls' neonatologist) stopped by to say hi and play with the girls for a bit (he lives a few doors down).

Aunt Kenzie with all her nieces.

Grandma Angie with all her granddaughters.

Mother's Day Blog from the Triplet Madhouse!

Happy Mother's Day. Just wanted to bring you a couple of photos from our nutso household.

These videos are ridiculously cute. Brielle is laughing (not crying) and it's a full belly laugh.

And Another one.

And here are some Mom's Day Pictures!

I'm going to enter this series of pictures in the Iowa State Fair from the Bel-Aire Drive Aquarium.

Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos riannicus (The Grey Reef Shark) reaches for the kill.
Sizes up dinner, not the tasty iPhone 2 but an iPhone nonetheless.

Oh no, she's got her jaws on it, gumming the iPhone.

The last picture the iPhone took.

But it's zero calories! Teagan instinctively using her two teeth to pop the lid off a drink.

After discovering it's a twist off, she decides to eat it whole.

It's Mother's Day!?

Happy Mother's Day Mommy and Grandmom!

Oh. Box.

I don't know. I'm not sad, I just...it just seems like a Starbucks morning.

If you're driving by Hy-Vee could you just pick me up a Venti Cinnamon Dolce Latte with soy and with 1 shot of expresso but no whip?
We're wondering what sports the kids will like and got to see some girls t-ball this weekend. I still don't understand the quotation fingers "rules" but even if someone gets it, not once did the first baseman catch it as well. I don't think anyone ever gets out. Everyone gets to run the bases and everyone plays the whole game. Seems fun for the kids....of course having a first baseman, second baseman and third basemen or an entire outfield...that's kinda funny.

Gracie monster first t-ball game. 6 at bats, 6 singles, 6 RBI's.

Respecting her power, the infield is way back. Respecting the aluminum bat might slip out of her hand. Craig stands way back.

I caught this balloon myself.

Hmm. How am I going to eat this?

Maybe I'll invite a friend to dinner.

Oh biscuits. It's gone.

So. So. So. Far.

I didn't want to play with your stupid balloon anyway.

Have you seen my balloon?

New Toy. Sweet

Mommy's iPhone!

I was getting hungry.
